NASA uses robotic arms to accomplish tasks on many missions. The 2020 Mars rover, Perseverance, was designed with a robotic arm to help scientists on Earth conduct scientific experiments on Mars. Join the NASA STEM Engagement & Educator Professional Development Collaborative at Texas State University for a free 60-minute webinar to learn about a robotic arm challenge for students. Using the engineering design process, students design, build and operate a model robotic arm to move items from one location to another.
